Good to know

This villa is part of the newly renovated River Rock Inn in Bellevue Iowa, directly on the Mississippi River. The master suite is on the third floor accessible by antique spiral staircase. The master includes its own living space, 6-person hot tub and full bath. There is also a private balcony with seating and outdoor gas fire-pit. The lower level includes a living space, full bath and bedroom with two double beds. It also has a full laundry room, 65" smart TV and foosball & shuffleboard table. The second floor includes a full kitchen with fridge, gas range and dishwasher. Plenty of seating and all cookware to make a great meal. There is also access to a shared lobby and large deck overlooking the river. Access to the Riverview Vacations’ resort property with beach chairs, fishing and boat docks as well as boat launch.

Other Details to Note

Steps are required. Our resort (Riverview Vacations) also offers tiny home cabins, RV rental and campground & Potters Mill Event Center. This Villa is part of the River Rock Inn and has access to a shared lobby within the building. Pets are not allowed in the building. Beach May not be accessible during unfavorable river conditions.

House Rules

Shedding Pets must stay off furniture. Pets must be on a leash when outdoors. Pets must be picked up after. Fees apply. No Smoking or Vaping allowed indoors. Quiet hours are from 11pm to 6am. We are on the main channel of the Mississippi River, Swimming is not advised due to strong currents and boat traffic

The historic building is located on the Riverview RV Park & Vacation Rentals Resort and is within walking distance to down town Bellevue with shopping, restaurants and brewery. It is also along the City Riverfront Park with miles of walking/Bike trails and just below the Bellevue State Park and Butterfly Garden. A short drive to Galena IL as well as Dubuque IA and the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium. Only 20 minutes from the Maquoketa Caves state park.

Guest Access

This Villa is part of the newly renovated River Rock Inn located at the Riverview RV Park & Resort in Bellevue. The inn provides 5 guest suites with shared common area including access to a large deck overlooking the river. Guests have access to all our resort amenities and river front with private beach and boat docks. Staff may be available periodically during the day, however there is no 24 hour staff or service. Each guest suite and villa has a door to the common spaces with deadbolt and coded lock. Enjoy a Mystery at the Mansion activity provided at no cost with your Villa stay. Use QR clues to find out who killed the wealthy AJ Dorchester, the wealthy owner of the mansion. Fun for all ages, it is an experience that will entertain your group inside this historic inn.

Went to the caves and I searched high and low for a cute little air b&b that would make one night worth it . We certainly found it in this space ! Super cute , perfect location . We walked around a LOT! There was the cutest flea market or art festival lots of older people selling handmade items . I purchased from a woodmaker he was so darling . We walked by the river a lot and the milk was fun to walk around while our boys skateboarded ! The town kinda gives spooky vibes and reading the history of Bellevue is so fun ! Highly recommend this space !

Hey Y’all! Our family sooooo enjoyed staying in Bellvue Iowa! It’s truly a beautiful gem that I stumbled across because Dan’s Villa just caught my eye right away! The Villa is soooo beautiful and wonderful and clean! We enjoyed the beach behind it; rummaging the sand for shells and just couldn’t stop looking at the views 😍 we all got to enjoy the hot tub! The Maquoketa Caves are just 30 mins away which of course we went to hike them and man the views just had my heart praising GOD for HIS sovereignty and beauty! So, i brought my 3 kids, I’d say if you have a crawler and toddler like me, it won’t be super easy because of the stairs but it’s possible if you’re being extra watchful of them! I’d suggest maybe a gate at the top of the stairs of the top floor and making the spindles closer together cause a kiddo can easily fit through them and fall through but other than that, this Villa is comfortable and spacious and oh so beautiful! 😍

My Wife and I enjoyed our night stay at the Villa. Dan even helped me out by going the extra mile to stock the fridge with a couple bottles of wine for my wife and I’s Anniversary which I happily paid for the extra service he provided for me as a surprise to my wife.

Beautiful unique place, very spacious, quiet, and clean. Liked that the light switches were all labeled, made it super easy. The kids and I enjoyed the murder mystery QR codes, it made it something unique and extra special. We also enjoyed the foosball and shuffleboard games. The downtown is within walking distance and is beautiful and inviting also.
